We LOVE Sweet P’s barbeque!! We order from Sweet P’s frequently for our meetings and training classes and always get rave reviews. If the word gets out that Sweet P’s will be catering an event, we have associates beg to be included in the meeting!! True story!! The food is fabulous – the barbeque, the mac & cheese, the banana pudding, and the tomato & blues salad is to die for! – and the service is the best ever whether it’s a small or a large group. I highly recommend Sweet P’s catering.

I just wanted to let you know how much everyone enjoyed the food on Saturday night. If you phone has not been ringing, it will be. Every single person wanted to know who made the food. From the wings to the banana pudding (which was almost completely gone before the party ended), all the food was very much enjoyed by everyone. And with your generous portions, I was able to have a few more meals afterward which were great! I appreciate you being prompt and quick on your delivery and set up. It was perfect timing for everything. Thanks again for making this an easy and most enjoyable party for me and my guests. Best of luck to you in 2008!

the meat’s smokey flavor was strong, sweet, and smooth as silk.
the sauce… wow.
the sauce is a vineagar base?
that’s a great start!
then the sweet part was not too overstated.
nice mellow blend…
then the spicy part sneaks up on you.
i expected it to take over, but it never did.
all 3 flavors blended perfectly with meat.

the tater salad was totally solid.
very clean taste.
i usually prefer a little mustard in my tater salad.
but when coupled with the bbq, it works perfectly.
i love the texture.
no chewing effort needed.
all in all… we’d have to give it 6 giant thumbs up!
we’ll try to get in a paying order as soon as possible.

I hope you are well. Hey – I know a chef doesn’t like to give away his secrets but any chance you might tell me how you made that delicious strawberry shortcake type dish? It was SO good and everyone was fighting over it at the end. The crust is really what made it so tasty. I keep trying to figure it out. It tasted like yellow cake mix w/ butter poured on top. Yummy! Don’t feel like you have to give away your secrets. Just know we really enjoyed your meals.
